Seasons of Change

Winter is an etching, Spring a watercolor, Summer an oil painting, and Autumn a mosaic of them all!

As we approach the next season of our challenging 2020, think about the landscape that surrounds you! How can you paint your days to be more beautiful than the previous ones?

I’m that neighbor who goes all out for decorating both indoors and outdoors! I love adding interest to our yard and home! I’m self-sufficient and am an independent, modern woman. Ladders, duct tape, 3M magic strips–I do it all! I am stating this fact as my husband is very tolerant BUT is not much for the pre-prep participation! He enjoys the end results and has even been caught outside the house “praising” his wife’s handiwork!

We need the “renewal” process that each of our seasons bring! Take time to paint your “canvas” and share it! To my husband’s dismay, my latest seasonal collectible is gnomes! Gosh they are so adorable! I just picked up my first Halloween one that’s purple and black striped with his gray beard braided and his little shirt that says, “Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet!” My darling husband tried giving him to the checkout lady but it didn’t work! She loved him too and showed it off to her co-workers before we could leave the store! It backfired!

My canvas is filling up well with all the little decorative touches surrounding my wonderful world. I enjoy having plenty to spread throughout my neighborhood!

Enjoy your golden days of Autumn! Make them count!
